when I run this is displays some ad-hoc networks that have long since
disappeared so I'm a bit suspicious.

Note: acccording to the Github site it's the server side version of
XInput that is being checked, and it's 2.2, so I suspect it's not coping
with the newer version.

This bug has been fixed upstream in poppler 0.20.4 which is available in
Kubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal". Can you please test with Kubuntu 12.10 beta 2
now or with Kubuntu 12.10 final when it is released on 18th October 2012?
