I have the sound connected through digital S / PDIF
Sound works properly selecting stereo, but can not get it to work using 5.1
When I select stereo sound, appears on the tab below to phonon spdif output
option.
When I select Output 5.1, that option does not appear.

It happens also if the displays have the same size.
Since clearly nobody cares about this disturbing bug, I would be willing
to fix it myself, just please give me some points what source should I
download and some directions where to look.

This mainly happens when you have two screens, and one of them has a
bigger height (i.e. vertical). When you align the one with default panel
to the top of second display (with bigger height) bug disappears, but of
course this configuration is hard to use.

And since some users (e.g. comment 13) mention 4.2.3~rc3 (which as of
now is only available from the PPAs) to miss the files too, I also
checked the *.debs in the PPA and the libs are there on both i386 and
amd64.

Noticing some inconsistent behaviors between my 14.04 installations --
on my desktop, the `quassel-client` package runs fine, but `quassel-
client-qt4` does not. On my laptop, neither work.
Both start up fine and seem to connect to the core, but don't show a
window at all. Here's what appears in
With my issue in particular, I just reinstalled 14.04 since the laptop I
was running 14.04 on at the time was a spare unit. Once I reinstalled,
it was fine. Prior to reinstalling, I wiped everything in my home
directory including the hidden items; no change.
