As far as I recall, 5 months after the issue, it seemed to happen after
a batch of security updates. I always keep my OS fully patched with all
recommended updates which is what has made this even more

It should not break any other filters if you uncheck Advanced -> "If this
filter matches stop processing here".

Ubuntu better. It seems that there was an error on your system when
trying to install a particular package. Please execute the following
command, as it will clear your package cache, in a terminal:
