I tinkered with a similar command, then could install Gnome. It meets
my needs so I might not even try to install Unity, but I think it would
install now, too.

Same here with 4 screens. I think it is because one screen has a
different resolution.

I've had a skim, I'm not feeling that this is sufficiently motivated, to
be worth the risk.
It looks like a fairly major version bump (3.5.2 to 3.6.1), but the only
test has been building cmake itself, not the hundreds of packages that
build-depend on it.
Was the Debian transition to 3.6.1
No update on this? is this fixed in 16.10? Using KDE Neon here but same
problem
