Use an HDMI device to play sound, the disconnect it and open the Audio
Volume widget. Notice that there are at least two Playback Devices:
Analog Stereo, and HDMI (even though there's no HDMI device connected).
In the HDMI device's hamburger menu, set it as the Default. When

Exactly the same issue. Plasmashell segfault with "error 4 in
libkcupslib.so". Black screen after login, all hot keys work, ALT+F2
works, but no desktop GUI. Removing "print-manager" fixed issue, but
this is a hotfix.
My system (if helps):

contains normal file with the same name as folder, ark silently
overwrites the original file.
Steps to reproduce problem:
1. Create archive which contains folder "test".
2. create normal file "test"
