Same problem for me with the iso downloaded 26 March 2022 from the http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/daily-live/current/jammy-desktop- amd64.iso site using zsync and a previously downloaded iso version as input file. It gets to 33% installed and freezes at that point going no further however long
