hi! Simon,
at the time when I was reporting this minor issue, the Development of
the KCM was considered to be done within the SDDM-Project.
Now things have changed a little bit. This bug was fixed in Plasma 5.8.2
(knowing that from the Antergos-OS side)
It's listed in KDE's Release-Notes:
Looks to me like 'kubuntu-settings' insists to drag-in that cruft from
KDE-SC 4.
