Kmail uses the non-sense date format 12-31-2009
This format was probably designed in contest to find most logical date
format, and then implement the exact opposite.
While this could be a matter of preference, it would be really good to
have option to change this format
I set -mm-dd in
1) kmail
2) kde system config
and all dates in kmail are ok, except the grouping-headers dates, as in

This problem still exists for me. At random, after restaring KDE/system,
sometimes kwalletmanager starts with empty window (doesnt who any wallets in it)
and when I dragdrop .kwl files to that window, then manager puts them into

Taking into account the fact is occasionally loose an email while crashing (!!!)
I would say overall kmail 4:3.5.7 on ubuntu 7.10 amd 64 is an epic failure.
