If you try this in kubuntu, we only get the standard wayland/weston shell without the KDE Stuff. wayland/weston runs very smooth here. so it should run. kwin/ Plasma rund great on X (i'm on Intel Hardware) so there should be no problems. The Problem is that the KDE session doesn't popup. after a little research this could be the problem of no wayland support in kwin. so just a question: is there wayland support? if not: why not? will it enabled later? i think many people are interested to play and test this.
