This is NOT a bug! It is simply because the '-' key is mapped to the
subtract button on kcalc. To mark a number as negative, click the '+/-'
button on kcalc - this toggles a number between positive and negative.

Please read my report again. I didn't say after pressing enter or equal to(=).
Take for eg my casio fx100w. It shows the -5 as I type. No enter. No equal to.
Why is this so hard to understand?
