Ubuntu (Unity) does not work perfectly. I have this problem using
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Xenial Xerus with Unity.

3. In system settings, set "Power management > Energy saving > When laptop lid
closed" to "Suspend".

The kscd package in yakkety depends on libmusicbrainz3, which has been
removed from Debian unstable. The kscd package in Debian unstable has
been updated to libmusicbrainz5, but since kscd is at a newer upstream
version in Ubuntu, this doesn't show up as a pending merge.
