Well, if it is Amarok 2.0.2 you are talking about, then this is not a bug.
Playing CD/DVD is simply not implemented yet in this version. You will have to
be patient for a future version, probably 2.2
Understand that Amarok 2.x is a complete rewrite and not all features have been
implemented yet.
Of course you can rip the CD (which takes less time than to read it) and either
play it from the "Files" tab or add it to your collection in Amarok, or use
KsCD to play it in the mean time.
