It will be 6 months since the killing of Manuel Jaminez Xum by the LAPD, a Guatemalan Mayan young man, and we are still wanting for the investigation results.
We demand that DA Steve Cooley prosecute the killer cop Hernandez. The LAPD continues to use the ICE Secure Communities and the LA Sheriffs use the ICE 287g agreement to continue to harassment, detain and deport Central American and Mexican immigrants. The LAPD and LA Sheriffs continue to use the so called DUI check points to confiscate peoples cars. The street vendors who are just trying to make a living continue to be harassed by the LA Sheriffs and the LAPD. The SCIC demands Stop the Repression against Central Americans, Mexicans, Chicanos and African Americans now. SCIC demands full legalization for all and an end to the ICE/Police harassment, arrests, and deportations. Justice for Manuel Jaminez Xum, equality for Central Americans.
