Peace and Civil Rights Groups to Protest:
US Attorney General
Eric Holder LA Visit

What: Protest: Jail Killer Cops, Stop FBI Attacks!
When: Monday, January 17, 2011, 4 PM
Where: LAX Sheraton Hotel, Century and Airport Blvd.
The Martin Luther King Coalition for Jobs, Justice and Peace, LA Coalition for
Justice for Oscar Grant and Latinos Against War, Fight Back News, and allies,
will protest the visit of US Attorney General Eric Holder at the annual Martin
Luther King Southern Christina Leadership Conference gala dinner. The protest
will be held in front of the LAX Sheraton Hotel at the corner of Century and
Airport Blvd.
Protestors will demand that US Attorney General Holder stop the new current FBI
attacks against anti war activists and prosecute the police who killed Oscar
Grant and Manuel Jaminez.
The Reverend Martin Luther King and SCLC where victims of many FBI and police
attacks.
The LA area has seen a spike in police killings and the FBI has recently served
search warrants and subpoenas on anti war activists to appear before a federal
grand jury on January 25, 2011.
Eric Holder is target of protest because he is the highest ranking law
enforcement officer in the US has the power to call off the FBI investigations
and the Federal Grand Jury hearings, also he can order federal investigations
into civil rights violations of Oscar Grant and Manuel Jaminez two well known
police killings among many more.
The protest will also show unity and solidarity with the Black, Latino and anti
war movement in Los Angeles. An injury to one is an injury to all.
