Long Beach prepares for Gay Pride festival The 24th annual Long Beach Pride Celebration is coming to town this weekend, bringing with it celebrities such as Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and the Indigo Girls and a variety of vendors peddling everything from kitchen sinks to cars. The 2007 Long Beach Pride theme, "Harmony in Colors," comes from the aim of unification for the culturally diverse city of Long Beach.
