From PDSMM 310-291-1300 I just got off the phone with Julie Levine. She is in DC but is monitoring all the info from OLA. They have been told to leave by Monday but there is fear that the city will act before that. Again I urge you to cancel your subscription to the LA Times. The Occupation was told that if the LA Times puiblished anything about the negotiations all offers would be withdrawn. The reporter from the LA Times was told that but she would not leave the GA where the offers were being discussed and then wrote the story and the offers were indeed withdrawn.
I am planning to go down on Saturday or Sunday. I do not plan to get arrested but Julie Levine says she is willing to go to jail. She will be back on Sunday and plans to spend the night. If you plan to be arrested leave your phone at home! It will be confiscated. KPFK is on holiday programming so I guess Julie is our best source. She will call me if there is any change. Meanwhile if you can e-mail the offices of Richard Alarco, Eric Garcetti and Bill Rosendahl that would be great. I have Bill's personal e-mail but I don't want to share it yet.
