Thanks to all who voted in the KPFK local station board election -- we just made quorum, including a small number of blank ballots, and results are posted on the station and network websites -- you can go to www.kpfk.org for the link to the elections and KPFK results. Thanks especially to those who voted for candidates on www.grassrootskpfk.org -- four of our members were elected - Lydia Brazon, me (Michael Novick), Chuck Anderson and Brenda Medina - and two are first alternates in case a vacancy opens -- Aryana Gladney and Lawrence Reyes, according to the tentative lists posted there (finalized next month, apparently).
