Peoples Power is the common theme uniting diverse individuals and organizations
in a national discussion and tour!

Begin the Discussion With:

* Cynthia McKinney, former Congresswoman and 2008 presidential candidate
* Clarence Thomas of ILWU Longshore Workers Local 10 - San
Francisco/Oakland
*       Kuusela Hilo of BAYAN-USA
* John Parker of International Action Center
* Natividad Carrera of the Southern California Immigration Coalition

The National Tour on building PEOPLES POWER will not just be in union or
community halls, it will also be in the streets. We have to march and
demonstrate during this election year, to expose the lie that politicians
represent the people's concerns.

1) Encourage a nationwide discussion on developing a PEOPLES POWER program
demanding jobs, housing and education, and end to all social inequalities
including racism, sexism and LGBTQ oppression, the massive deportations and
imperialist war. Let's target the root of these ills - the capitalist system -
and the need to end this brutal system of exploitation.

2) Call for participation in a national Speak-Out on capitalism's crimes of
unemployment, low wages, foreclosures, police and ICE terror, racist
incarcerations, hunger and homelessness.
