I worked one of the red flowering gum bookmark (although I did it in white)
out of Elwyn Kenn, point ground patterns from Australia.
Challenging but very pretty when done.
I must say I did find you new one very pretty. Thanks for the view and the
pattern.

Yes, it's been quiet. Since I broke my wrist and
can't make lace, I search for Lace messages for my
lace 'fix'but find very little. It's a bit early
for the usually holiday slowdown.
Someone start a thread that will stimulate comments.

Sorry everyone my mistake, have just had a look at them and you are
correct they are Floral Torchon. It is quite a while since I worked
them and I guess I always associate Getraldine with Bucks as I have been
on several courses with her.

Geraldine Stott's 'Patricia' and
Janice,
Yes there is life out here. Unfortunately I've just been *thinking* about
lace, and doing the article (Tamara :-) ) on the recreation of the 16th
century fashion doll with her lace trimmed silk gown.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, work is taking up extra space in my life.
Grumble.

Janice (and others),
I can guess why the archives don't show your messages. You are
addressing them to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the same goes for all you
people who send messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and mess up my
filters! ;-) ). Majordomo interprets the address as an alias for
Arachne and shows it on
