Hi The next Northern OIDFA Contact Day has been arranged for Saturday 25th October 2008 at Gawthorpe Hall, Padiham near Burnley BB12 8UA.  From 10.30 to 3.30pm.  It will cost £10 and members will be able to look at some of the lace or other textiles in the Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth Collection.

There is no argument at all from this corner! However, finding the old wool blankets and pure wool felt is rather difficult. And if we're covering foam for pillow blocks, and that foam is going to have moisture-holding properties, it seems rather futile to go to any great length to fine good

Hi Lacemakers! I found this fun spider on the internet the other day! You can interact with her! Use the space bar to leave her bugs to eat. Use the mouse to take her by the leg (arm?) and move her around. There's even a menu bar that allows you to change the way she looks and moves.
