Osma Gallinger Tod, Lace Inspiration from Belgium - of interest if you
have the booklet :)
On Mon, May 25,
I perused this booklet by Osma Galliger Tod Monday when Norma came for
lacemaking Monday. We had a chuckle about the author's saying that bobbin
lace was a very inexpensive hobby. We decided the booklet MUST be VERY
old!

Thanks Bev,
I enjoyed reading the article and the photo shown is the same as on page 9 of
my booklet. My photo was not identified so it is nice also to have that
information.

Dear Jane
I am curious about what you see as the problems with the Dryad
lacemaking kit, assuming it's the same one as I got in 1985.
[In 1994 I started teaching because the owner of
our small craft shop, who understood the problems of the Dryad kit,

or the UK.
Does anyone on the list know of a source? Inox used to make them. I can find

No connections etc, but it's the obvious source for Shetland knitting

I'm relying on-list because it is lace related.

I will be traveling to Honiton in September and am trying to figure out how
much time to allocate to the town. As far as I can tell, the All Hallows
Museum and the Honiton Lace Shop are the sites of principle interest to the
lace visitor. Is there anything else of a lace nature that I should
Wow Brenda! You are in the know! I went to their site a couple of days ago,
figuring that if anyone had them, they would, but didn't go into kits!
Thank you! You are so in the loop! I really appreciate it!
