Wig hooks can be used for honiton.However I found that parts of them
were very sharp and therefore cut the thread.Not much use, so I use a
very fine beading needle will the eye sticking out of the handle, threaded
up and this works fine.I also use a needlepin to keep my

Getting a closer look, the inner square appears to be woven, as I see no way
it could be knitted. The substantiation of this is because the holes are
either between the medallions and isolated, or isolated within a medallion
itself. If it was knit, then it would run and not be contained within
Featuring Niebing, history of lace's beginnings, varied types, etc.
