Thank you for those, I now know that a picture on my work room wall that I
bought at a car boot sale a few years ago is by Miles Birket Foster it's the
one with woman and child outside the cottage, I had tried to find out who
painted it to no avail.

here in Australia to make poppies in commemoration of 100 years since the
terrible times at Gallipolli during WWI. As I don't knit or crochet this will
