I have been advised to change the setting from HTML to Plain Text, to get rid
of the strange bits, -- but I am using the Windows 10 email section, - and
canât find where to change the system. I canât find that setting anywhere.

It isn't just Jeri - I get the funny characters too. I'm not with AOL.
However, Jeri and I can write to each other and receive the messages and I
receive her messages via Arachne, although I didn't in the past. I also
meant that I didn't get my sister's posts to Arachne as she was with AOL at
Dear Spiders,
The appearance of extended ASCII characters (the proper term for these
unusual characters) has nothing to do with the age of Arachne's server
at panix.com. Servers and software ARE updated, swapped out for newer
models, and patched. Just because you have been on Arachne for 20+
years
Dear Devon,
Lace Fairy would have loved this! She designed themed fabrics for her
quilts.
Next year's big Lace celebration in Belgium would be a good place to sell
this lace by the yard. Easy to pack.
Being more than a little curious, I did a search, and found this Contrado
business
Further to the conversation about italics on the old Arachne server it appears
that Jeri Ames has more problems than most of us.
If I post words like Gütermann, Perlé, Alençon, Tønder and Cantù some
people get them correctly and can return them to me correctly. Others like

Dear Arlene,
I am testing to see if you receive a copy of this letter from me directly,
as well as a cc from Arachne. That would be 2 copies in your mail. I did
not receive your original posting of the Arachne gathering, though I found
it in the Arachne archive because Jane wrote to Arachne..
Same window comes up from the symbol on the bar right at the top, near the

Good morning, all.
As of now, I am planning on attending the lunch gathering of Arachne.
Last year was the first time I attended. Itâs quite fun. And a chance
to meet more lacers.
My husband will be traveling with me this year. There were no other
lacers from Nebraska that were able to attend
Hello, all -
As mentioned in a previous message, I am working on organizing a gathering for
any interested Arachne members at the IOLI Convention in July. This will
happen during the lunch time on Tuesday of that week
In considering options for where we should gather for lunch, it would be

It appears that just as the possibility for designing your own printed fabrics
has been available for a while, it is now possible to design your own machine

I have received two lovely Torchon bookmarks. The first is from Robyn Denny in
New Zealand and the second from Sue Vossier in France, her own design. They are
so different, which shows how versatile Torchon lace can be. Many thanks to you
both.
