Matthew sells these glass UFOs and the acetate discs and I design pattern
for them which we sell at lace fairs/days. I use an acetate disc

The lace would look best if it was held against the top curve of the glass,
but that would only be possible with glue.

If you were to consider the 'donut' to be
a 'mold', and wet the lace - put it wrong
side *up* *in the mold* - and let it dry
that way - does the lace
