The strange lack of lacemaking groups, instruction, and coherence in New York City was actually the subject of some discussion at the Eastern Regional meeting at the IOLI Convention this year. You may send the person my name and email address although I am a New Jerseyite. It might be time that we should start a list of lacemakers in New York City. Inquiries come in from time to time from people looking for lacemaking contacts and classes, but so far, nothing ever seems to congeal. Maybe we should start a list of people who live in New York City who make lace or are interested in it and who would like to be in contact with others. I would certainly also be interested to hear from Carol if she receives any other responses than mine. Devon
