Way way back in the early days of Arachne, there was some discussion about
a lace maker in California who was or had made a life size coach from wire,
and was also making a Cinderella and prince. She also wrote a book along
this line. Does anyone remember this? What was her name and what ever

In 1998, I was in California on business, and it just so happened that by
staying over an extra day, I could go to the Freeway Lace Guild Lace Day in
Torrence. There, I met Lieve Jerger and bought a copy of her book, The Winged
Tiger and the Lace Princess. (ISBN 0-9644149-4-5)
I've just checked out Cherry's website, and it's BEAUTIFUL! I have a piece of
her ceramic lace which I got at our Fall Lace Day in September. It is framed
in a simple shadow-box frame, and is elegant - just above my computer on the
wall in my office!
