Thank you to Beth for sending me a sample of DMC Natura Just cotton. I have measured it as 2s/8S 5 wraps/cm
So it is the âJust Cottonâ version of Natura which I had seen before. >From Ravelry and the (not very helpful) DMC website I have deduced that this is more or less a 4 ply knitting yarn thickness. Natura Medium is perhaps DK or worsted weight and Natura XL is a super chunky weight. For BL Natura Just Cotton would be suitable for a gimp in a heavy torchon, the other two are likely to be too thick for BL unless the pricking and base thread is VERY large scale.
