Are you sure? or is Western Australia hotter than I imagine?

We did an Iceland/Greenland cruise three years ago (first 2 weeks of August) and it was quite warm during the day in Greenland. We were walking around with our winter fleeces tied around our waists and just tee shirts and jeans because it was so pleasantly warm and sunny during the day. Mind you, on the morning we went through the Prins Christian Sound it was bitterly cold; I wore two of everything! But it was spectacular. Steep mountain slopes both sides of the channel, too high to see the sun behind, which is why it was so cold, and icebergs floating outside the cabin window.

Great memories - and I'd rather have the arctic (well sub-arctic) any day rather than the tropics, though actually the bits of Greenland we saw are only as far north as the UK Shetland Isles which are off the north coast of Scotland.
