Hi All,

I wonder if it may be of interest to you all, but ..... I received
several eMails re the Beginners/Intermediate lace course at Assington Mill
near Sudbury, scheduled for July 10th, 11th and 12th, and which I am
tutoring.

The general consensus was that the cost was too high! So - I contacted
the lady at the mill, and we have come up with a solution, which we hope
will be attractive. I told her I was more than willing for my fee to be
lower, and so she has correspondingly reduced the price of the course by a
third. It is now £100.00 for the three days. Of course, there is no
accommodation provided, so bed and breakfast would need to be found in the
area, but there are several places the Mill uses, and I don't think that
would be a problem - and the cost is now more in line with other residential
courses, if one adds in the cost of the accommodation to the course fees.

There is also a course to run from the 20th November to the 22nd November,
at the same place and the same cost if anyone finds that more convenient.

If anyone is interested, the website for the Mill is as follows:

All best wishes, and may your pins never bend.
