Hi All, I'll do my part to make a little mail around the holiday. (DH's
computer doesn't always make spaces between the words and I might miss
some - sorry!)

A friend who buys and sells things called up to see if I'd be interested
in some needlework magazines. He read off a few titles and I said when can
I see them! I bought the lot and am quite pleased with them - probably
about 25 items. Most are from 1900 to 1920 but a few from the 1880s. A
number are Priscilla booklets on different topics - Hardanger, Filet
Crochet, Irish Crochet, Armenian Lace, Hedebo and Cutwork Lace. And there
is a little tatting in a few of the items. Oh, and there are a few little
clippings of different patterns in a few of the booklets.

I'm not having any Fiberartists for Thanksgiving but I will enjoy going
through them and thinking about them when I'm in the midst of hostessing!

I really want to make something in Irish Crochet someday. Therre is a
neat pattern for a jabot with Oak leaves and acorn bobbles <G>.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate it tomorrow!
