Tanne and Cotona have always been the same, just wound onto different size
spools.
I thought that all of the size 50 had been discontinued, but if they are still
producing it in the smaller Cotona tells thatâs great.
The size 30 comes as Tanne, Cotona and is also used for the Madeira stranded

After a tremendous amount of input from fellow arachnids, including Jacquie
Tinch who actually pursued the issue with a Madiera representative, it
sounds as though Madiera Cotona 50 is actually the same as Madiera Tanne 50.
If so, then I have a source for replacing threads in my Madiera Tanne
