I would like to publicly thank the organisers for the recent wonderful Pacific
Northwest Lace Conference. I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed myself as well as
learning lots and coming away with a lot of goodies :-)

I took the Binche/Flanders course with Sally Schoenberg and, as expected, it
was a combination of fun and a lot of great information and assistance. I am
looking forward to my next class with her, whenever that will be!

The conference itself went very smoothly, at least from my perspective. There
had obviously been a lot of hard work both beforehand and during the
conference. The Lacemakers of Puget Sound did a fantastic job and in
particular Lauren Snyder and Julie Hendrick. Well done and thank you again! I
was also able to spend lots of money at the lace day on the Saturday and found
several books that were on my list as well as Sally's lovely DVD set on
Flanders. Now to save up for the next outing which may be IOLI either (or
both?!) in Los Angeles or Portland.

Regards,

Helen (in Vancouver, BC on the west coast of mainland Canada)
