Though it's not bobbin lace, I've been very satisfied with the filet
crochet valances I made for my bedroom windows. I used an edging pattern
from Chris Rankin's book Filet Crochet. I made them out of coarser thread
and used a bigger hook. They're very lacy, with a rose pattern,
