I know exactly what you mean, mine does the same!
There is something very peculiar about this book, and I'm glad to find that it's not just my copy!
It doesn't matter where I put it, when I go looking for it next, the book has walked off somewhere else. I spend my whole life searching in my study for it!!!! (VBG) Of course, it's gone walkabout again, [...]
Yesterday when I answered the query abut threads for mending an alter cloth I had to refer to one of my "spare" copies; the working copy with all the scribbles in it (Addendum2) had gone to join all the others on walk-about.
I've just spent 10 minutes franticly searching for it and began to think I'd have to start on a new working copy when it appeared again from beneath a pile of bits and bobs right beside the computer! It should live in a pink plastic wallet, which is quite distinctive, along with printouts of 1cm spaced parallel lines and a copy of Vibeke's enlargement/reduction table, but it had managed to escape!
For those of you not in UK the following people have stocked it: USA Lacy Susan (Wenzel) VA Holly van Sciver NY Susan T Groh MO Deborah Beever OK Birgitte Tessier VA
Gaye Beswck South Australia Margaret Livingstone NSW
Gail Young (Trilliun) Ontario, Canada
Apologies to anyone who's name I've ommitted.
