In 2002, Accademia Merletti De Amicis published volume 1 of a projected 6
volume series (I haven't seen any more of them, though. Has anyone?).
None except the first, which I have, bought it from an ebay.it seller who
had some remaindered copies a few years ago. For

Many years ago, I was taught the Venetian lace flower by Pat Read, using
those same instructionsfor Aurelia and anyone else that may be
interested, I found that the instructions are interesting and

Reading along in it, I came to a chapter on Venetian Lace. No explanation
given as to
what it is. I looked about in all my

I have the same book, and some of her names are quite peculiar. From the
plate that accompanies the opening page of the chapter on Venetian I think
that she is talking about what we would call Cantu. Long ago in going
