I've finally had a chance to get the bobbin pictures put on-line. I tried
last week before I left for Hawai`i but our service provider was having
issues. The close-up pictures are not the clearest but you can get an idea
of what they look like.

I just got some Danish bobbins on eBay, and they have round bulbs with a
hollowed-out stripe through the middle (I don't think you can look them up
on
eBay, since the auctions are over, but one of the sellers had a webpage:
