Thank you, so many amazing answers which I am managing to take a swift scan through today. We are busy preparing food for tomorrow evening as we have invited some friends over. Not sure it was the right choice mind you, seems mad spending parts of 3 days, including my birthday tomorrow preparing food for one meal. Not sure if I will get my hand made, hand lace edged napkins out though.
Still I have managed to prepare the next lot of bobbins and should get that onto the flat pillow (will measure to remind myself whether its 20 or 22 inches diameter) and see how it works up. I will be doing quite a few sewings and using my new square bobbins, so everything in one this time. That might well help me decide what my next move should be, invest in a new pillow, flat or domed or play with the old ones.
