Not a bad idea at all, since I also need whatever I use to be transportable. I'll see what I can find in the way of a box. Might also be able to attach the box right behind the work, but on top of the pillow.
One problem is that I tend to shove the work to one side or the other, depending on which way I'm going (this is a plaited lace and I work straight sideways at times) -- so that is another challenge in terms of storing the lace as I work. If you get any private answers that you think might help me, I'd be grateful if you would share.
