Oh Susan, you lucky, lucky lady! I've just looked at your fabulous prize and they are to die for! The beautiful wooden case too, an absolute dream. I thought I must have a pair, until I looked at the price plus shipping of course and customs charges for us in the UK. Oh well, one can dream.

Lucky you Susan. What nice prize, stork scissors with pretty handles and a beautiful carrying case.  I have many pairs of stork scissors but the only specialized pair of scissors for lace are the Carrickmacross ones that have the blunt end on one side for cutting close to the net and organza.
