Your reply to Susan was just what I needed to read this morning. It
illustrates dedication that is often missing on Arachne (though never from
you),
and which is often unappreciated. Now that Arachne readers know Malvary
is one of the proofreaders of "Lace" and also
Brian:
There's a book "Dentelle de Normandie", by Florence Quinette. There are 4
very good pictures of bobbins, one picture showing noquettes covering the
thread.
The book is in both French and English. There is at least one copy
available through Amazon, and Holly Van Sciver carries it.
