Thanks Janice--love your kitty! Will try to make a sweetie for myself &
perhaps add beads for eyes. Pu, Susan Hottle USA

Thanks Gon! I would never have figured out how to rearrange the edging on my
own. The designer has a good eye! Happy lacing indeed--between your site &
LOKK, there's a lot to learn from edgings & insertions. Susan.

RE: [lace] Beginner Pattern

2017-09-10 Thread J R
Thank you, Janice Blair, for posting about the beginner cat pattern you
designed. I visited your website, jblace.com, and it was a treat to see your
impressive body of work. There are other patterns available there, besides the
cat. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

I checked and it says that the edging was transformed into the star by mrs.
C.M. Bom-van Ewijk.

Hello All! Just wanted to thank LOKK for posting so many fun patterns on
their site! I finished Kantje van de maand No.14 & would love to know who
designed it. It's a tiny 6 pointed star with the initials c. bom '85. The
Google translator is a bit wonky so I'm not sure whether the edging came
first & was transformed into a star or the reverse. The working diagram was
very helpful & I'm glad I worked the edging first to understand the pattern.
It's about 57mm & will fit on a small holiday card. Cute & for once I owned
the threads that were specified! Sincerely, Susan Hottle USA
