Hello, I also received my beautiful Christmas ornament today. Janet Theaker made for me a star in a ring with beads and also embroidered a Christmas card with gold thread! And finally, inside the card, there was a very positive and beautiful piece of poetry! I am so happy about this gift and think that the exchange is a magnific means of getting in touch and exchanging our hobby with our lace-friends. Same as Janet, I also consider this piece a treasure, and the treasures from past years are also kept and decorate my home every Christmas. Well our Postal services are really doing a great job I have received a beautiful little puppy dog from Sharron Morrison in USA, , Along with a beautiful card, As I dont want to spoil the explanation on Jenny web page, He is just so cute. A Beautiful beaded snowflake from Antje Gonzales in Spain Along with a card, Antje has also put a dedication to Sallie in her November edition of Twist and Cross Magazine , That is so nice Thank you so much Antje ,Sallie will love that. A Beautiful Shooting Star Card from Mira Guzelj in Slovenia , Who I was fornunate to meet in June when I went to The Odifa Congress in Slovenia , This was the first tme I had attended an Odifa Congress , An unforgettable experience , It was so nice to meet Arachne lacemakers who we communicated through the list and so nice to meet Miriam Gidron and others. Also a Beautiful Bangle ornament and Bookmark from Liz Legiti in Austrailia , It is going to be something to look forward to seeing all the pieces on the 2016 Arachne Christmas Card Exchange site , I am sure you will agree that Jenny does a great job , Can I also remind you , For those who have not scanned there ornaments to Jenny to please scan them. These pieces are a lacemakers treasure !!! I have Thanked all the above personally , Also so when we recieve our pieces we also get the beautiful stamps on the envolopes , Sadly in the UK we seem to be using more and more of the printed labels. Dear Spiders , We are fast approaching the deadline for posting our cards for the Arachne 2016 Christmas Card Exchange , Which is 1st of December . I know some of you have already posted them .
