Nancy, Please send a photo of your picture, it sounds interesting! There are a patterns that look like Le Pompe in New Modelbuch, also. Since these books were not sold bound, I have found each copy is slightly different. If you send me a pic I would be happy to look through various versions I have. The Metropolitan Museum of Art scanned most of its pattern books and put them on line. Try a google search of âle pompe Metropolitan Museum of Artâ Not sure of whether it is true of Le Pompe, but often these books are not uniform in content like books today because they were published as a series of, I guess, pamphlets, and only later bound together often with missing parts or miscellaneous other material. [lace] Le Pompe -- first book
Hi everybody, I have a PDF of the second book of Le Pompe, but I haven't been able to find a scan of the entire first book, only what is in Levey and Payne. I'm looking for the pattern for the lace I bought at auction. It looks like it should be out of Le Pompe but it's not in the "libro secondo".
