David and fellow Arachnids! Yeah! 25 Years is a very long time! I joined a couple of months after it started, but it was the same year! Never ever wanted to leave, though I have had periods where I have lurked in the background due to a myriad of reasons! However, I do avidly read posts and even save useful ones! We have had many members pass on, which is sad, but we still have lacemakers, bobbin makers, bobbin historians, pillow makers, lace historians...etc! This is still the BEST place to learn about all things lace! Through thick and thin, we have been a solid lace community! Grateful to be a member! I frequently receive emails purporting to be from friends which just have an URL and website in the message. As we donât communicate by email I always delete them without opening them. Happy memories indeed Liz. I've never been to a Convention overseas but relish my memories of any lace convention I've been to in Australia. I received a spam email from Clay, the other day. It was just a link to a diet pill âshopâ. Looks like Devon has been hacked as well as Clay. Will there be an Arachne meeting at Convention, again this year? I so enjoy meeting other Arachnids face-to-face at the Conventions. I think this will be our last trip, though. Old age is galloping, and they are such long flights from Melbourne to LA, and then Immigration and changing places for our destination. It is just getting a bit too much! We are looking forward to Convention, and seeing so many of you again. I think this will be my 9th one â since my first in Denver 2005!! â And I still use the Goodie Bag â the purple & black one, to go to our Lace Days, here, - and the Blue one from Salt Lake City, for Tatters Guild!!
