[lace] To our Aussie and NZ spiders
Dear gentle spiders, In a few hours it will be dawn in Australia and New Zealand. As the sun comes up on the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings I hope and pray that the spirit of ANZAC lives on with you all and that the dawn services take place without incident. Just a little over 20 hours from now, I and my DH will be watching the sun rise here in the UK thinking again of you all and are attending the National Arboretum to pay our respects. Dear Liz, Thank you for your thoughts on our ANZAC day celebrations tomorrow. Fortunately one of the bigger services in Adelaide will be held just round the corner from where we live. We will be going to the Youth Vigil service at 8pm tonight then attend the dawn service in the morning. Sadly heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast for early morning tomorrow so best I find my raincoat and waterproof shoes, items that don't see much light of day in this fair city, the driest city, in the driest state of the driest continent. Cheers, Shirley T. - 10mm of rain overnight and this morning. On 24-Apr-15 3:01 PM, The Lace Bee wrote: Dear gentle spiders, In a few hours it will be dawn in Australia and New Zealand.
