I guess you must be using a soft-tipped pen? There are some that are hard-tipped - I think the one I found was from Staedtler (pigment liner). It made very fine line (.05) and the ink was permanent. I think it was pricey, though - maybe $10. Adele West Vancouver, BC (west coast of Canada)
