If you're attempting to spin super fine yarn, there is a video on spinning lace yarn that I watched. If you can find it, it is an eye opener... I had to re-rig my tension with thread and a rubber band so there is NO take up unless you release the yarn. I learned to add more wool from the side, also to process my wool differently, and only use Rambouillet or Morino. They are the only wools fine enough for really fine lace yarns. I am spinning lace weight, gossamer is yet to be achieved but it WILL come, and I am a relatively new spinner! If I can learn so can you!
