I learned something useful last week at a voice workshop about Altoids.
Apparently have menthol in them, and are thought to be not good for the
vocal chords if you are singing or doing a lot of speaking, particularly
public speaking.

My SisIL is to be a first-time grandma. If she was a lacemaker I could
give her a commem. bobbin for the occasion when Grandbaby arrives. But, a
bobbin for her would be redundant - she does like to do quilting though.
