Later this month my DH and I shall be travelling north to visit both the
Bowes Museum and also the Harrogate Lace Event, really looking forward to
seeing the Blackbourne exhibition at the Bowes as I've heard so much about
it. It will also be nice to attend a lace suppliers fair that we've not been
to before.
I do have a couple of questions, firstly will there be any other arachneans
attending the Harrogate Lace Event on 24 March, it would be lovely to meet
you if you are going and perhaps have a chat over coffee; and can anyone
local to the area recommend a B&B in the Castle Barnard area rather than
Harrogate, (I'm hoping to visit on both the Thursday & Friday - DH hasn't
twigged that one yet!). Our last couple of forays using internet have turned
up a couple of interesting one night only and never again B&B's, so I
thought I'd try and get a couple of personal recommendations instead.
